Management Accountant needed for parental cover Your new company

Your new role
There is now an opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to take responsibility for a portfolio of 4 locations. The role will initially be for 9 months to cover a parental leave but could well go permanent as the company continues to acquire new business. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working with the General Manager at each location, your responsibilities will include -

Preparation of the monthly report for management inc P&L and variance commentary

Assist in preparation of financial models and business cases

Balance sheet reconciliations

Budget preparation and rolling forecasts

Assist with CAPEX analysis and reporting

Make recommendations for process improvements

Assist in preparation of annual statutory reporting

Identify internal control improvements and opportunities for automation

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be CA/CPA (or near completion) with experience in a corporate environment. Ideally you will have worked in a similar role where you had responsibility for reporting on a number of cost centres. You will have good communication skills to talk to people in other areas of te business. A good working knowledge of ERP systems and Excel is essential
