Data Integration Engineer -B2B vacancy requiring profound API knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Leading the design, development, and implementation of the Open Banking API framework
• Working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define API requirements and align them with business goals
• Monitoring the transition from file transfer protocols to API-based communication, ensuring minimal disruption to clients
• Maintaining and enhancing the existing secure transport platform to support new API functionalities
• Providing comprehensive support and training to clients during the migration process
• Developing, implementing, and enforcing security protocols to safeguard data integrity and privacy, staying compliant with relevant regulations

Your experience/knowledge:

• 3+ years of professional experience in API development, with a focus on Open Banking
• Deep understanding of Open Banking standards and protocols Experience with secure transport technologies like SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js
• Expertise in data privacy regulations and security standards like DPR, PSD2
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
• Language skills: English, German - fluent
