SUMMARY
Work for 'Global Threat Management' from APAC region by effectively/efficiently working on critical security platforms. This position will be used to cover 'Global Threat Technology' operations in Pune.

MAJOR DUTIES
Effectively/Efficiently deliver/support on automation workflows requirements.
Willingly and effectively collaborate with partners from other regions and document/create repeatable processes for all.
CORE COMPETENCIES
Scripting: PowerShell and KQL. ( Primary )
Programming: Python. ( Primary )
Automation: Terraform. ( Secondary )
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Candidate is expected to be well versed with the use of PowerShell. The candidate will be able to script and execute using PowerShell, with a full understanding of Azure Automation, including Runbooks, Logic and Function Applications.
Candidate is expected to be well versed with implementing automation workflows across network, security, collaboration, and computing infrastructure. Able to compare and parse common data format (XML, JSON, and YAML) to Python data structures. Can utilize common version control operations with Git, like Clone, Add/remove, Commit, Push / pull, Branch, Merge and handling conflicts, diff.
Candidate is expected to be well versed with the use of APIs, can construct a REST API request to accomplish a task given API documentation. Able to describe common usage patterns related to webhooks and can identify the constraints when consuming APIs. Should be well versed with common HTTP response codes associated with REST APIs.
Can troubleshoot a problem given the HTTP response code, request and API documentation; and can Identify the parts of an HTTP response (response code, headers, body). Should be able to utilize common API authentication mechanisms: basic, custom token, and API keys. Can compare common API styles (REST, RPC, synchronous, and asynchronous); and construct a Python script that calls a REST API using the requests library.
Expected to have good knowledge of cloud platforms/technologies. Able to identify the attributes of different application deployment models. (private cloud, public cloud, hybrid cloud, and edge) Candidate with knowledge of Azure platform preferred.
Candidate is expected to have hands-on knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, and Terraform. Can identify the workflow being automated by a Python script that uses various vendor APIs or RESTCONF. Able to interpret sequence diagram that includes API calls; and the results of a RESTCONF or NETCONF query.
Expected to have good knowledge of PowerShell and be able to script . Able to identify the attributes of different application deployment models.
Should have good working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Should have knowledge of ITIL processes, ticketing system/management tools.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills, integrity and professional ethics.
EXPERIENCE
4 - 6 years of work experience.
BE/B Tech, B.Sc.IT or equivalent.
Industry recognized professional certification/accreditation preferred.
