Join our high performing and fast paced Infrastructure and Energy Capital division as an Analyst to gain excellent exposure to the principal investments side of our Asia Pacific business. Our Infrastructure and Energy Capital team invests Macquarie's balance sheet into infrastructure and energy projects and companies.

What role will you play?

As a core member of the team, you will take ownership for origination, including structuring, business/company diligence, arranging debt and equity financing and market analysis. Working with a dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to prepare internal investment memos, financial models, syndication materials, lender/investor dialogue and be involved in the internal credit approval process along with client interaction for ongoing mandates and new business development. You will closely track the relevant markets for deals, developments, regulatory changes and macro environmental factors, as well as work closely with the portfolio company's management to help drive value creation initiatives.

What you offer

- 2-4 years' experience in infrastructure investment management with an infrastructure fund, private equity or investment bank
- An outstanding academic record in a relevant discipline with a strong understanding of buy-side financial modelling
- Highly numerate with excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the credibility and professionalism to represent the infrastructure business of Macquarie both internally and externally at the most senior levels
- Flexible, entrepreneurial and innovative
- Backgrounds in management consulting or accounting will also be considered.
