Loans Review Specialist (ID: 655364)

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent assessments of the existing loan portfolio's quality, primarily focusing on corporate loans. This includes evaluating risk acceptance criteria, loan origination and structure, documentation, problem loan recognition, remedial management, loan grading, and specific loan loss provisions.
• Ensure that the loan portfolios comply with related laws and regulations set by MAS, as well as the Bank's internal policy.
• Perform post-lending reviews of the current loan portfolio according to the annual Loan Review plan.
• Collaboratively engage with business units to resolve credit opinion differences, aiming to find win-win solutions that enhance the bank's credit risk management.
• Identify and communicate credit-related issues, incorporating recommendations aligned with credit policies and guidelines to improve credit risk management.
• Work with business units to develop written management action plans addressing loan review findings, ensuring adherence to agreed reporting timelines.
• Prepare regulatory and management reports within the specified deadlines.

Requirement

• 3 - 5 years of related experience
• Background within the commercial or corporate banking space in a bank.
• Good communication skills, and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
