Perform and analyze payroll related interfaces and data input for accurate processing of the biweekly US payroll maximizing the use of Workday Payroll , ADP SmartCompliance, Workday Reporting and Workday Time Tracking systems. Actively involved on project teams within Payroll to analyze and develop improvements.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Administer garnishment and child support orders.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, setting up deductions, preparing correspondence, responding to court orders, solving garnishment conflicts, working with clients and maintaining procedure manual. Information must be processed in accordance with State and Federal laws. Success will be measured by timeliness, decision making, problem solving, accuracy demonstrated in completing this task and ability to resolve reconciling items.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality, resolve & respond to all levels of the organization
  • Customer Service and professional attitude required at all times. Handles phone calls from employees and deals w/ third party service provider on an on-going basis. Payroll Customer Service will include, but not be limited to a professional image at all times along with the ability to resolve issues timely and to reduce the number of issues. Customer service and support within the team is a must.
  • Process accurate bi-weekly payroll through in-depth review & audit of payroll data to ensure compliance to federal, state & local reg & applicable tax laws, as well as company policy & protocols. Review, process, balance & reconcile multi-company, multi-state payroll. Process, review & balance reports; ensure accurate & timely completion of all payroll work to meet pay deadlines.
  • Responsible for Expatriate payments and accurate employee Visa taxation.
  • Responsible for filing, tracking and organizing personnel and garnishment paperwork, processing and distributing needed reports on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-to-date basis.
  • Review, add & edit records. Review & validate changes interfaced & manual data entry of payroll data. Validation of names, audit of pay rates and employee count, process payroll workflows for new hires and terms, verify changes of pay rates, dept and processing of W2 earnings and taxes.
  • Supports staff, which includes filing, copying, shredding, and other duties as assigned.

Skills & Software Requirements:
  • Experience with Workday Payroll, ADP SmartCompliance,
  • Experience with Workday Time Tracking
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, Google Sheets, Google Docs
