Role Overview:
The Operations Intermediate Analyst is responsible for processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of transactions.

This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.

What you'll do:
- Process transactions, provide analytic input for traders and review of products.
- Develop a technical understanding of supporting applications and identify inefficiencies in the existing process whilst providing recommendations.
- Manage, escalate and resolve all requests, inquiries and issues.
- Participate in the implementation of projects, new products and services.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made whilst adhering to the appropriate policies and legislation.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and manage to deadlines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
