Our client, a leading global bank, is seeking an experienced ESG Reporting Manager to join their team in Krakow, Poland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the bank's external ESG disclosures meet the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and compliance.

Position Overview

As the ESG Reporting Manager, you will work closely with the Senior ESG Reporting Manager and other members of the ESG team to ensure that the bank's external ESG disclosures for Europe are fair, balanced, understandable, and meet all relevant disclosure requirements. You will support the design, execution, and documentation of ESG disclosure controls and processes, contributing to consistent, reliable, and accurate reporting of non-financial data.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Senior ESG Reporting Manager and ESG team to ensure compliant and effective ESG disclosures
  • Support the design, execution, and documentation of ESG disclosure controls and processes
  • Develop controls and assurance processes to ensure high-quality external reporting that meets ESG regulations
  • Assist the Senior ESG Europe Manager in planning and executing the production of external ESG disclosures for various entities
  • Ensure robust governance and compliance with new ESG regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' experience within Finance at a major institution
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis and new reporting requirements
  • Quantitative degree, ideally with professional education in Finance (Qualified Accountant)
  • Knowledge of IFRS9 is preferable, though not essential
  • Highly-motivated, diligent, collaborative, and capable of working independently
  • Strong project management skills, including creating lean processes and governance structures
  • French language skills are advantageous
