Data Analytics, Fin Models - Corporate Development - 12 m ftc

City of London location, ideally 3 days a week in office

Banking & Financial Services

• Data analytics and financial modelling in a corporate finance / development context
• Will need to be adept at taking large datasets, combined with excellent commercial acumen, to build out financial business models to support potential transaction processes
• Will need to be comfortable modelling across multiple financial statements in unison with clear and transparent approach and the ability to summarise output into digestible management information to support key decision making

0-12 MONTH DELIVERY:

• Key financial modelling support through potential Corporate Finance processes including assessing ad-hoc acquisition opportunities with the aim of enhancing external equity story and creating shareholder value
• Produce valuable insight from large datasets to support the production of management information
• Alongside FP&A lead building financial models to run numerous scenarios to support any potential Corporate Finance processes
• Support Financial Control, Treasury and Investor Relations areas to deliver analysis to support potential transactions

Banking & Financial Services fintech

• Must have FS experience, ideally any lending environment (retail bank, non-bank lender, payments, merchant acquiring, mortgage co, challenger, business lending or corporate bank...)
• Knowledge of accounting and modelling and strong presentational skills
• The candidate will be a self-starter, have a strong willingness to learn and the ability to collaborate with people from different teams
• Qualified Accountant or equivalent professional qualifications
• Would love you to know or learn.... Investor Relations, Corporate Advisory, Transaction services or M&A/Corporate Development

Job Offer

• Base £75,000 to £110,000 for the 12 month duration

• Typically this house will keep anyone permanently who exceeds performance expectations - so a great step to industry, into an incredibly commercial and decisive role, with a longer term platform if desired
