About the role

The expansion of our business has generated a new permanent position and exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager - Exposure Management to join our dynamic team. This role is suitable for the enthusiastic professional with exceptional attention to detail, eager to dive into the complexities of exposure management and make a tangible impact.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Efficient and accurate management and implementation of currency hedging, asset rebalancing and multi-asset implementation mandates.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance investment processes.
  • Conducting daily drift monitoring to ensure timely fund rebalancing.
  • Enhancing client relationships with professional engagement and proactive communication.
  • Contributing to research, strategy, and risk management initiatives.
  • Fostering a positive risk culture, ensuring compliance with mandates and legislation, and actively improving processes.

About You

It goes without saying you will have outstanding attention to detail with top notch data skills, we'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, efficient ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick the following boxes:
  • Experience in financial markets, with a solid grasp of market fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with financial instruments used in asset allocation, including derivatives like futures, swaps, options, and repos.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling.
  • Confident decision-making abilities based on knowledge and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for financial markets.
  • A curious and adaptable mindset with a drive to learn and grow.
  • Degree qualification in economics, finance, commerce, actuarial or other relevant field.
