ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• We are looking to hire Graduates into our various Control Functions teams. We are looking for the future of CMC.

The Role

• You will work within 3 of the core functions that are critical to the success of any medium-to-large sized financial services firm.
• You will complete rotations throughout each of Risk (both Operational and Liquidity) and Client Asset Management teams.
• You will undertake 3 x 4-month rotations (one in each function), plus 6 months at the end of the programme back in one of these rotations for a programme totalling 1.5 years.
• We may vary the rotations length and ordering as required by business need at the time.

The Responsibilities

• As a member of the Graduate Programme, you are the future of CMC and we are looking to train you and invest in you to become the next generation of Control Function professionals.
• As a junior team member undertaking rotations throughout CMC, you will be expected to quickly integrate into each function and support standing team members in performing the role of the function.
• This will be highly varied work, tasks will change and the level of responsibility will depend on the individual Graduate.
• Most of all your main responsibility is to learn. We want you to be in a position to take on a permanent role with us once the programme is completed!

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Who are we looking for?

• A 2.1 degree
• An interest in CMC and financial services
• Ability to work well in a team
• Basic excel skills
• Good analytical, problem solving and numerical skills
• Ability to work independently and/or outside of your comfort zone
• Energetic and curious
• Good writing skills

Desirable (but not required)

• Finance, STEM graduate or Law graduate
• Experience working with varied stakeholders
• Coding experience
• Basic financial markets and industry knowledge
• Keen to pursue relevant qualifications (e.g. CFA/FRM)
