If you're an ambitious individual aspiring to excel as a Financial Adviser and eager to carve a path in Financial Planning, this could be your next step. We are looking for an an up and coming Financial Adviser to join our Townsville team on a permanent full-time basis.

What will a typical week look like?

Under the mentorship of our Wealth Partner, this role is designed to set the individual on a pathway to becoming an accomplished Adviser. You will be the point of contact for client queries and will be given the opportunity to take on more independence and autonomy with your own client base (in future, performance dependant) as you develop and grow in the role. An overview of your day-to-day responsibilities follows:

• Proactively communicate with clients and determine how Findex can best meet their needs
• Assist your Advisers/Partners in providing strategic financial planning and investment advice including, investment structures, estate planning, superannuation and retirement planning
• Prepare pre-appointment work and participate in client meetings with Advisers/Partners
• Ensure advice documents are compliant, in line with industry legislation, regulation, and Findex policies and procedures

• FASEA approved degree
• An interest in progressing your career to become a more experienced Financial Adviser
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload
• The ability to work and thrive in a team environment
