Corporate Real Estate Business Finance & Controllership

Partnering closely with Corporate Real Estate Strategy and Administration (CRESA), you will drive day to day operational and financial responsibilities for portfolio of corporate leases and owned properties, incl. investment cases, performance management and financial processes/ MIS delivery, governance, risks and controls. You will work closely with the respective unit heads, leads and their planning teams to support the regional strategies and planning, forecasting, budgeting.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Corporate Real Estate Strategy and Administration (CRESA) to support performance management and analytics for portfolio of leased/ owned properties and associated services:

• Evaluate and maintain Notional Occupancy Cost rates (NOC)
• Critically review investment business cases & contract proposals, incl. assessment for business needs, appropriate governance and approvals, save quantification
• Controllership and governance of financials, incl. working closely across business & finance stakeholders to ensure appropriate financial bookings/ loading, accounting treatment including IFRS16
• Support forecasting/ budgeting and monthly financial activities
• Develop meaningful MIS and deeper insights, incl. monitor leasing & initiative/ investments utilisation
• Support regional strategies with a financial lens/ partner across the region to ensure consistency

This role reports into SVP, Support Unit Business Finance, Controller.

Requirements

• Min. 6 years of experience in real estate business finance related fields. Experience in JLL, CBRE etc will be highly valued.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting and budgeting, accounting. Understanding of IFRS16 will be advantageous
• Proficiency in excel
• Keen eye for detail
• Ability to balance the local vs. regional requirements and work effectively in a matrixed organisation
• Clearly articulates assumptions and underlying issues with well-thought-through reasoning
• Work independently with a strong sense of ownership, self-starter and focus to drive outcomes
