- A sizeable Corporate Bank is hiring a Team Lead for their Regulatory Reporting and Transformation team.
Your new role
- A sizeable Corporate Bank is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead to join our Regulatory Reporting and Transformation team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic team of no more than 5 professionals, providing expert guidance on HKMA return responsibilities. As a senior member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in driving transformation projects aimed at improving processes related to HKMA Banking Returns, Tax Returns, and various surveys.
What you'll need to succeed
- Lead and mentor a team of 5, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Provide expert guidance on HKMA return responsibilities.
- Oversee and manage transformation projects focused on process improvement for HKMA Banking Returns, Tax Returns, and surveys etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
What you'll get in return
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking sector, with experience in big 4 auditing / advisory.
- Strong knowledge of HKMA regulations and reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese Cantonese.
