Job Purpose
Financial Derivatives role within ICE Futures Europe (IFEU) responsible for daily Market Supervision (MS) operations across multiple asset classes internationally including: Oil, Utilities, Soft Commodities, Fixed Income, Metals, Equities, Indices and FX.

Financial Derivatives role within ICE Futures Europe (IFEU) responsible for daily Market Supervision (MS) operations across multiple asset classes internationally including: Oil, Utilities, Soft Commodities, Fixed Income, Metals, Equities, Indices and FX.
Responsibilities
- Price management - responsible for the maintenance of fair value in Futures and Options markets across multiple different asset classes around which price controls are applied. Essential for creating a fair and orderly market in which participants transact.
- Trade disputes - undertake investigations of trades which are potentially away from value. Resolutions to be conducted efficiently, accurately and in line with published policy and documentation.
- Settlements - expeditious and accurate calculation of daily and final settlement prices for IFE's futures contracts which are used by ICE Clear Europe to calculate variation margin for participants.
- Front Line Support - liaise directly with front, middle and back office staff to assist with enquiries relating to all aspects of IFE's derivatives business.
- General Operations - participation in multiple operational tasks in relation to the daily activities of MS; active involvement in the requirements and design of all MS toolsets and systems; maintaining online product resources.
Knowledge and Experience
- Basic knowledge and understanding of all ICE toolsets and systems.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of all IFE derivative futures and options markets.
- Broad understanding of ongoing regulatory developments and processes of IFE's Compliance department.
- Degree essential - Economics/Finance/Business/Mathematics/Engineering/Science or similar preferred.
- Experience working within financial markets, especially relating to derivatives preferred but not essential.
- IT Skills - general Information Technology skills including strong working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, interacting effectively at all levels.
- Ability to operate effectively as a team member.
- Methodical, quick thinker with excellent organisational skills.
- Problem solving - proficient at identifying problems and working efficiently to resolve.
- Strong drive to continually improve and develop working practices and industry knowledge.
