Overview
This position provides collections and administrative support to the First Citizens Bank Equipment Finance division. Senior Equipment Finance Collections Specialists are responsible for a full range of collections activities, including addressing escalations and concerns, and performing high complexity tasks. Other expectations include collaborating on the prompt and accurate resolution of business operations or technical issues, maintaining individual knowledge of operational policies and procedures, and understanding the nuances of the Equipment Finance program offerings, systems, and customer relationships to appropriately address complex inquiries. The Senior Equipment Finance Collections Specialist is expected to be willing to provide training for less experienced specialists on the team.
Responsibilities
Collections - Performs high complexity tasks and manages escalated issues. Providing guidance and support to team members. Maintains high standards throughout all activities. Works with team members to improve collection metrics and QA by providing guidance and feedback
Business Support - Contributes to the development and delivery of business policies and procedures. Informs on system upgrades and outages impacting clients or the Equipment Finance Division. Assists management with special projects or other tasks as necessary.
Business Expertise - Serves as an expert resource on operations, systems, and policy information to both associates and clients. Maintains a strong knowledge of external regulations as well as Bank products and services.
Collaboration - Works closely with management and associates to resolve client issues. Provides feedback and assistance to management. Coordinates service delivery across teams when issues need to be escalated. Partners with internal departments to assist high

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Early/Mid/Late Stage Collections OR
High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Early/Mid/Late Stage Collections
Preferred Qualifications
Collections experience in leasing and/or finance industry
