TRUST OFFICER I RETIREMENT SERVICES
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This position is responsible for the administration of defined benefit and defined contribution plans, ESOPs, other employee benefit trust, agency and custodial accounts using third party record keepers and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's) where CNB is acting as Trustee, Trustee and Investment Manager, Directed Trustee or custodian. This position ensures that the administration of the trust is in accordance with the trust document and applicable laws where CNB acts as Trustee. Achieves compliance with Bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements. Interfaces with colleagues, clients, third-party administrators and outside investment management firms regarding accounts.

Interfaces with colleagues, clients, third-party administrators and outside investment management firms regarding accounts.
What you will do
- Administer defined benefit and defined contributions plans, ESOPS and other employee benefit trusts for account opening, periodic account administrative reviews, plan contributions, distributions, participant loans, cash transfers, wire transfers, asset transfers, asset valuations and the review and certification of the annual trust statements.
- Administer a book of retirement services relationships. Work with assigned clients and/or client's record keeper to administer the Trust to ensure adherence to Bank policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, overall profitability, and retention of the accounts assigned.
- May administer Individually Directed Accounts (IDA's) for high net worth participants in defined contribution plans.
- Assist with regulatory examinations, independent audits, internal audit compliance reviews and work with the Retirement Services Manager to implement action plans to correct deficiencies and update policies and procedures where needed.
- Maintains a proactive commitment to established Bank programs, such as CustomerFirst.
- Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Equal Employment Opportunity.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in the administration of defined contribution, defined benefit and other employee benefit trust, agency and custodial accounts.
- 3 years of experience in banking or financial services environment required.
- 3 years of experience working with ERISA Qualified Plans under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
Skills and Knowledge
- Three years of experience in the administration of defined contribution, defined benefit and other employee benefit trust, agency and custodial accounts.
- Three years of experience in banking or financial services environment required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related area preferred.
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Experience with SEI's Trust 3000 Trust Accounting system
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills sufficient to interact with all levels of Bank personnel and clients.
- Demonstrated general understanding of the fiduciary and prohibited transaction provisions associated with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
