Senior Accountant (Full set, up to 50k)

A leading commodity producer in South America, is hiring a Senior Accountant to join the team.

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's full set financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to take the next step in their career. Project exposure and occasional traveling will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
• Oversee the accounting and bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, and payroll
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and regulatory requirements
• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• University's degree with professional accounting qualifications (CPA or equivalent)
• 5+ years of commercial experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a relevant sector
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and generally accepted accounting principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
