The Credit Transformation Office, formerly named as the Future Credit Domain (FCD) Office, oversees change initiatives that are responsible for building a future-proof and robust credit landscape. FCD change initiatives are important for ABN AMRO's license-to-operate. This means that regulations and risk requirements are firmly anchored in Credit Transformation Office's value chain and control framework. Furthermore, we are working on integrated IT systems that enable us to do our work efficiently, to deliver accurate and timely reports and to meet (future) customer needs. The Credit Transformation Office monitors and reports on FCD and other FS change initiatives and applies deep content knowledge and change management expertise in managing underlying programs and change in scope of FS.

Your job

Specifically for the DoD Cluster, you will manage the end-to-end implementation of components within the Definition of Default program within ABN AMRO. Creating insight, overview, and control over end-to-end change. Coordinating the treatment of complex (policy) issues or cases at a strategic level.

Your role will involve coordination of the execution strategy, visioning, KPI setting and delivery of the Definition of Default components within the stipulated time frame. With your excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities, you will help us navigate complex situations and ensure our success.

Your work for includes the following:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Definition of Default components within the stipulated time frame.
  • Collaborate with the design team to understand and implement the specifications of Definition of Default accurately.
  • Work closely with the business implementation team to ensure all business requirements are met and seamlessly integrated into the existing systems.
  • Coordinate with implementation grids to monitor progress and resolve any emerging issues promptly.
  • You are able to make complex programs comprehensible and decide on the approach to be taken in projects.
  • Within the bank, you are an authority in your own field of expertise related to projects and processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for senior management and answer to stakeholders and SteerCo.
  • You enable fellow professionals to enhance their skills, you share best practices and act as a sparring partner for colleagues within SE&I.
  • Serving the interest of the bank by focusing on the bigger picture.

Your profile

  • University level education; a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience; specifically in banking or financial services.
  • Extensive project/program management experience in financial institutions; preferably with a focus on regulatory or compliance projects; preferably credit and / or data related.
  • Prior experience in implementing regulation and default definitions in a banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations related to the Definition of Default and risk management principles (in particular Credit Risk).
  • Highly experienced in stakeholder management on the most senior level.
  • Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and communication across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills inEnglish and Dutch.

We are offering

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
