This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly respected and growing hedge fund in London. The opportunity will provide a solid platform for accelerated professional growth surrounded by leading peers within the hedge fund space.
The role will report into a very successful Head of Fund Finance, and work within a team of 4 who are primarily responsible for the fund accounting and valuations. This will involve analysing the NAV, producing accurate daily valuations, preparing periodic financial statements and investor reports. Where they launch new funds, you shall be responsible for fund onboarding, liaising with various internal and external stakeholders and supporting in setting up efficient processes. In this you shall work closely with the Portfolio Managers and Traders to ensure reporting is aligned with their trading activities. The business has heavily invested in innovating their processes and systems, and have highly efficient reconciliation tools, leaving more time to focus on complex value-adding work.
They are looking for a qualified accountant, with solid understanding of hedge fund accounting. You should have strong academics and excellent communication skills. Previous experience leading process improvement projects desirable as well as strong excel skills (SQL desirable).
Base salary pays up to £110,000 and you can expect 50%+ bonuses in your first year. State of the art offices, with in-house chef, gym, and social culture.
