Job Description
- As an expert, you are responsible for providing high-quality legal advice in the field of social legislation, both internally to the various departments of our client.

- You support colleagues from different departments, such as payroll services (national and international), tax, deal & valuation advisory, etc.

- Externally, you advise both Belgian and foreign companies and manage projects such as (collective) dismissals, mergers, new labor arrangements, and work permits, where knowledge of international labor and social security law is essential. Knowledge of immigration (legislation and procedures) is a significant asset.

- Your advice is solution-oriented, pragmatic, and clearly written.

- With your empathy and commercial mindset, you optimally leverage consultancy opportunities within the organization group and become a trusted advisor and point of contact for clients with questions.

- Additionally, you contribute to publications on labor law, social security law, and immigration law where our client is a (co-)author, and you provide training and information sessions on various social law and immigration-related topics.

- You help further build the business by broadening your network both internally and externally.

The Successful Applicant
You match following hard skills :- Master's degree in Law with a specialization in Social Law or a strong interest in social legislation.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in providing advice, particularly in social law, and preferably also with experience in immigration and work permits.

- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of French is definitely an asset. In terms of soft skills, you have strong social skills combined with a commercial mindset. Values such as quality and entrepreneurship are familiar to you. You are a team player who can also work independently. You can empathetically anticipate the needs of clients with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach!
