Job Description
- Point of contact for external auditors and Tax consultants
- Sparring partner for Business Controlling team in their application of Accounting principles
- Review monthly closings and research solutions for complex accounting issues
- Ensure compliance with internal Group policies and best practices, and assist with SOX compliance initiative
- Review monthly payroll calculations and payments + supervise Balance Sheet positions
- Ad-hoc projects : future implementation of new IT tools, process improvement, etc
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor in Accounting or Finance (a Master's degree in Finance/Business Administration is an important asset)
- Fluency in English and good command of Dutch OR French are mandatory
- A career start in a BIG 4 environment (either accountancy, consultancy, or external audit) is an important asset, especially on projects related toReal Estate / Property Management clients
- Good command of BEGAAP is mandatory, command of USGAAP is a non-mandatory asset
- A first experience in the Construction / Property Management / Engineering sector is an asset
