The client, a company located in Milan and operating in the cosmetic sector, is looking for a Head of Finance with consolidated experience in the role.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies for the company.
• Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
• Supporting the Accounting Centre of Excellence to ensure compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Supporting the Accounting Centre of Excellence in establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Supporting the Accounting Centre of Excellence in their interactions with the external and internal auditors.
• Provide leadership to the finance department team.
• Engage with senior management to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
• Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
• Overseeing the financial strategy and budgeting process of the organization.
• Manage the company's financial planning and risk management.
• Supporting global financial teams in preparing, analyzing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior management to make critical business decisions.
• Manage relationships with banks, investors, and auditors.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
• Lead and manage the finance team.
• Oversee the management of company investments.

Competenze ed esperienza
Job qualification, skills and attitudes:

• Bachelors and master's degree preferably in Business Administration or Economics
• Previous experience as a Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director or similar role
• Strong understanding of financial law and financial risk management
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles and laws
