Global AP Analyst

For an international company in Eindhoven we are looking for a fluent English speaking Accounts Payable Analyst. This company is the world's leading travel retailer, their Financial Shared Services Center is located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The Financial Shared Services Center is the heart of the financial data which is collected from all around the world.

Functie

• Providing (operational) support to Tower Head Accounts payable on complex / ad hoc topics
• Analyzing and presenting operational KPI's to Global AP management including comments and conclusions and discuss with various other stakeholders for any follow up actions
• Identify variances, reasons and supporting reviews to drive continuous improvement
• Analyzing AP transactions to ensure compliance with internal control and accounting policies
• Performing effective variance analysis as part of month end closing
• Review on GR/IR accounts including (quarterly) write of execution
• Analyzing specific AP balance sheet accounts
• Responsible for monitoring outstanding RTV's including management reporting and follow up actions
• Participate in projects as identified in our business process that drive improvements in services or other areas as deemed necessary
• Basware user access maintenance and first line support on analyzing operational Basware issues
• Support internal / external auditor requests, including research and analysis of audit questions
• Analyzing and discussing payable / receivable balances for any potential payment block or netting agreement

Profiel

• Bachelor in business administration. Minimum of 2 years if experience in AP
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Data analysis; experience in Excel
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Excellent organizational skills
• Time Management
• Experience with Excel and SAP
• Critical Thinker & Problem Solver
• Strong Work Ethics and Interpersonal skills (Ability to interact across all departments)
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to enforce and comply with Company policies and procedures
• Excellent Knowledge of English Language, both written and verbal

Aanbod

• Hybrid model: Work from home in the office 3 times a week + Work from home 2 times a week
• Flexibility: If necessary, in consultation with the team lead/manager, employees can choose to work longer on a certain day and then work for a shorter work day the next day.
• Canteen: Wide array of foods, fully functional canteen working between 9 am to 2 pm.
• Month end meetings/gatherings: Different themes, event coordination team organising events. Teams also organise a lot of events within themselves more frequently (potlucks, lunches, etc.)
• Fridays are usually the dress casually days
• Travel allowance
• Work from home allowance: This is currently 2 euros a day to contribute towards electricity/heating and such things that we utilise while we work from home
