Role Profile
Be part of an inclusive and diverse team that is responsible for growing FTSE Russell's asset-based index business and contributing to team business targets (asset-based revenue, net new assets, new product launches). Reporting to FTSE Russell's Head of Asia-Pacific, Index Investments Group (IIG), you will develop and implement our Buy Side and Asset Owner strategy in Asia ex-Japan.
Key priorities will focus on growing relationships with key clients, driving a team, and collaborating extensively within IIG and with Product, Policy, Index Research & Design, Index Sales and Marketing and the wider London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) to drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product, Design and Marketing teams to develop and implement index-linked strategies with clients and raise AuM.
- Lead client projects such as strategic product launches by FTSE Russell's key Buy Side clients.
- Build ecosystems for FTSE Russell index franchises by collaborating with various collaborators, including support for derivatives.
- Work with the IIG APAC Leadership to support the delivery of key client regional strategies, including cross-listings and distribution.
- Collaborate with APAC's Sell Side, Strategic Client Management and Index Sales teams to connect market participants investing in or trading FTSE Russell indices.
- Lead and develop the AxJ Buy Side team to achieve consistent targets
- Provide market intelligence, analysis and research on strategic opportunities at the client segment and market level.
- Partner with LSEG's Sales and Account Management (SAM) organisation to generate new business through direct and indirect channels.
- Participate in the sales cycle - i.e. product and market campaigns - improving our ability to prioritise and focus our new business efforts.
- Contribute to revenue alignment goals through adoption growth, cross-selling and commercial policy developments.
- Represent IIG and sometimes the Head of APAC, IIG in internal and external forums and discussions.
- Diligence, comfortable working under tight timeframes, ability to take conceptual ideas and deliver results.
- Willingness and ability to collaborate with IIG team members as well as other collaborators within FTSE Russell and with the D&A division and LSEG.
- Deep understanding of the market, clients, and other external customers and regulation.
- Taking ownership and proposing proactive solutions to IIG and broader teams to help build strategic direction and areas of focus.
- Idea generating and standard process sharing; be willing to propose approaches and ways to accomplishing end goals for IIG business and partners.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
