Group Finance Manager (Manufacturing, Start-up, 50-60k)

About the Company

My client is seeking an technical and experienced Group Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting and consolidation for local and overseas entities within the organization.

About the Role

• Prepare financial reports in compliance with IFRS standards on a timely basis.
• Collaborate with local finance teams to address internal accounting issues and establish Accounting SOPs.
• Drive process enhancements to strengthen internal controls.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions for accurate consolidation.
• Address complex accounting issues and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain consistency in Chart of Accounts and report layouts.
• Develop year-end reporting templates and compliance disclosures.
• Supervise audit and tax matters.
• Assist in preparing annual/interim reports and work closely with external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and a professional accounting qualification (e.g., HKICPA).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in group financial reporting, consolidation, preferably in startups or experience in spin-off projects from listed companies.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, international accounting, and taxation regulations.
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft tools, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates high integrity, commitment to continuous improvement, and keen attention to detail, with a quick learning ability in dynamic environments.
