Analyst for finance focused sustainability consultant

 We are looking for someone with really strong chops in financial analysis to lead our work identifying where different sustainability issues are most material. 

Whistle Stop Capital is a small consultancy, well-positioned within the responsible/social impact/ESG investment industry. We work with our clients to help them assess, and address, social and environmental topics within their investment portfolios. We make a difference here. We have supported our clients - through rigorous research and analysis - in changing the policies and practices of some of the largest companies in the world.

Our firm is well respected in the space and the demand for our services is greater than we are able to provide - hence we are looking to bring an additional exceptional person onto our small team.

What we need: We need someone who is expert in conducting financial analysis, who gets joy from tracking, understanding, and discussing what's happening in the markets --- and wants to help make the case for improved environmental and human rights practices from investors and companies.

You don't need to be an expert on any particular sustainability issue: we will train for that. You do need to be very comfortable with numbers, with excel and other analytical platforms. Experience/education should include: expertise in statistical analysis, deep understanding of the financial and capital markets. That would include the following sorts of indications:

Degrees focused on Finance, Statistics, Economics, and Accounting Earning a CFA certification Salary range: $80,000 - $130,000 with the possibility of vested equity.  We are fully remote and flexible with hours and schedules. We welcome working parents, athletes, and the semi-retired.
