Vice President of Finance and Operations Responsibilities:
- In this role, the individual will be essential in shaping financial strategy, performance, and decision-making for the North American business unit.
- Leading a team of finance professionals and collaborating with senior managers to optimize financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic initiatives.
- Acting as the primary financial leader and trusted advisor within the Business Unit, providing finance and business partnership to management.
- Playing a significant role in the global finance community within the division and contributing to various group projects.
- Overseeing financial reporting and follow-up for the North American operations.
- Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, offering insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management.
- Working closely with the Business Unit President to set strategic direction and address finance and business-related matters.
Vice President of Finance and Operations Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience with a proven track record of success in complex, multinational environments.
- Extensive experience across various financial functional areas, including product development, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, service, and aftermarket operations.
- Experience in leading strategic and financial improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to summarize and clearly communicate complex topics to facilitate organizational understanding and action.
- Strong history of driving strategic initiatives and influencing decision-making at the executive level.
- Experience as a proactive business partner focused on driving profitable growth, particularly with complex portfolios, is advantageous.
- Broad experience in finance roles, including financial analysis, operations, general accounting, and controlling.
