This fast growing trading company has created a new position for a tax accounting specialsit to joined their already established Group Tax team. The role has been created as a result of continued growth and increasing regulatory requirements on the business as they breach the large corporate threshold. The role will report into the Head of Tax as part of wider team and take a particular focus on the tax accounting requirements for the business, including Pillar 2 and CbCR.
Key responsibilities will include:
You will need to be a tax specialist with an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and a strong background in tax accounting, including the relevant accounting and tax software packages. You will need to have a pro-active approach, looking to solve projects and work collaboratively with other team members to get a resolution. This is a great opportunity to come into an organisation with a relatively blank canvass and put a stamp on the department and their processes around tax accounting.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Pillar 2 and CbCR reporting
- Maintenance of the tax accounts on a monthly basis in accordance with accounting team's month end close timetable
- Preparation of tax numbers and disclosures in annual statutory accounts in accordance with the agreed audit timetable and liaising with auditors regarding same
- Preparation of intercompany service charge and interest calculations in accordance with the group's transfer pricing policy and invoicing same
- Management of intercompany balances and associated documentation, reconciliations / regularisation
- Responsible for ongoing review of group wide entity liquidity position and recommendations as to dividends and further capitalisation
