Are you passionate about using data to deliver impact for children and the environment? Are you someone who likes to create and implement innovative tools so impact can be tracked and reported?

We're looking for an Impact Transparency Director in the UBS Optimus Foundation to:
• Develop frameworks, methodologies, and tools to analyze and report on programmatic impact across the different programs and initiatives supported by the UBS Optimus Foundation and the wider Social Impact team
• Support Foundation and Social Impact team across regions to ensure consistent and reliable application of impact tools and processes (e.g. UBS Optimus Foundation's Impact Rating Tool, Key Performance Indicators, Theory of Change, etc)
• Build greater awareness of impact standards, benchmarks, tools and measurement within the Foundation and the Social Impact team
• Continuously benchmark the Foundation's impact measurement and management practices against industry standards (including ESG [Environment, Social, Governance] measurement practices)
• Help position the Foundation as a thought leader and influencer in the field of impact measurement, within the Bank and externally, building upon its reputation in outcomes-based financing

Your team

You'll be working at one of the offices where the UBS Optimus Foundation is located. The Foundation was established in 1999 in Switzerland. It is an award-winning, expert grant-making foundation that helps UBS clients use their wealth to drive impactful, scalable, and sustainable solutions to the pressing social and environmental problems the world is facing. It has developed a strong reputation in applying social finance instruments to outcomes-focused programs. The Foundation has offices in Switzerland, UK, Germany, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and Australia. As of 2023, the Foundation is managing more than 370 programs in health, education, and climate and environment, across 80 countries.

Your expertise

• ideally at least ten years of professional experience in impact measurement, monitoring, evaluation and learning, management consulting or research
• experience in monitoring development programs, database management, information analysis, evaluation techniques and methodologies, report writing, and use of spreadsheets
• demonstrated analytical and assessment skills of quantitative and qualitative data
• awareness of impact methods and tools used by ESG professionals, impact funds and global development
• strong communication and facilitation (workshops) skills, particularly in handling social impact data
• team-oriented, flexible working style, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• innovative finance, grant-making and/or program management experience a plus
