What it's about
This role is part of the Private Markets Royalties team of Partners Group. We apply a value-add investment framework across multiple sectors, such as Music, Pharma, Brands & Sport, Media Energy and Carbon sectors. As part of this internship, you will support the Private Markets Royalties team on all aspects related to sourcing and execution of royalty investments and portfolio management:

This role is part of the Private Markets Royalties team of Partners Group. We apply a value-add investment framework across multiple sectors, such as Music, Pharma, Brands & Sport, Media Energy and Carbon sectors. As part of this internship, you will support the Private Markets Royalties team on all aspects related to sourcing and execution of royalty investments and portfolio management:
- Modeling business plans, LBO, DCF structures and investment returns
- Participating actively in due diligence workstreams on prospective investments (e.g. financial, commercial, tax and legal due diligence)
- Drafting internal investment recommendation documents
- Conducting various other tasks related to opportunity sourcing, market research, product reporting and marketing.
- Supporting the team in monitoring and evaluating the performance of existing royalty investments.
We are looking for a candidate to join the team for a 3 - 6 months internship (flexible starting date and duration).
What we expect
- A high energy level coupled with a strong passion to learn and succeed, along with an impeccable work ethic and a professional demeanor.
- Top performing students at a leading university, ideally focused on Engineering, Economics, Finance or Business Administration
- Initial experience in Private Equity, M&A, Strategy Consulting, Leveraged Finance or Transaction Services
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent teamwork skills within international settings
- English is our working language, any additional European languages will be considered a plus.
