- Opportunity to provide project coordination, event planning and administrative support to the Communications Department at the Reserve Bank of Australia

We are seeking three Team Coordinators for the Reserve Bank's Communications Department who are focussed on delivering positive outcomes in a fast-changing environment. The Team Coordinators will report to one of the following: Head of Media, Head of Content and Employee Experience, and Head of Public Education. A flexible and calm mindset under pressure, excellent time management skills and an ability to anticipate issues will be highly valuable in this role. As well as reporting to the Head of each team, Team Coordinators will work collaboratively with each other to deliver outcomes for Communications Department (CD) overall.
Within this role you will:
- Assist and coordinate activities and projects across the team.
- Create and execute process to assist the Head of team with tracking and reporting of projects and campaigns across the team.
- Coordinate end-to-end events, including stakeholder engagement, logistics, registrations, compliance and other administrative tasks.
- Assist in building and managing efficient processes and documentation, including compliance, finance and procurement activities.
- Assist in the monitoring and tracking of all related activities across the team, including tracking and reporting of progress of team goals.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including booking travel, maintaining team calendars, email inboxes and managing meeting room bookings as required.
- Maintain relevant communication tools, resources and ensure maintenance and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate activities and tracking of work with external providers/stakeholders as required.
- Assist with handling switchboard enquiries across Communications Department Team Coordinators.
- In conjunction with teams across Communications, increase impact, reach and engagement of content and employee experience, media, external relations and public education.
- Ensure that data entry, research, reporting, analytical tasks, and management of registers is undertaken in line with business needs.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in project/event coordination, administration and reporting
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Experience handling switchboard enquiries.
- Ability to work autonomously, employ initiative to find solutions, prioritise and exercise discretion.
- Experience in collaborating and supporting highly effective teams.
