Finance Manager

Eclipse Trading is one of Asia's leading proprietary derivatives trading firms. Founded in 2007, we have over 100 employees across 4 office locations - Hong Kong (our HQ), Sydney, Shanghai and Chicago. Our trading expertise and strategies are deployed across several Asian markets and although we mainly specialise in equity derivatives, we also trade delta one, ETFs, commodity derivatives, and cryptocurrency products. The successful candidate will be a member of our dynamic finance team based in Hong Kong and report directly to the Senior Finance Manager. It is a hands-on role with excellent exposure to derivative products, international taxation and accounting practices and regulatory aspects of our business.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Control the month-end closing process, prepare regulatory returns and the monthly management accounts to management
• Prepare financial and KPI analysis, budgets and forecasts
• Prepare statutory accounts, liaising with external accountants and auditors
• Perform tax computations and prepare corporate tax returns and other taxation statements for our Hong Kong, Australia, China and the U.S. offices
• Review and enhance the accounting systems and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory rules and requirements
• Review and make recommendations for the group's tax planning processes
• Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as required

What you offer

• University graduate with recognised professional accounting qualifications
• 4-6 years post-qualification experience, preferably in the finance industry
• Strong technical skills in tax and accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills and highly organised
• Proactive, independent and has strong initiatives
• Excellent command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Advanced-level Excel skills
• Enjoy working with different cultures and has an enthusiastic attitude
