Our client is a global industrial manufacturing company, leader in providing high-quality technologies for different sectors. It operates within a larger international group known for its expertise in process technology and industrial components.

Job Description
    • Board Membership: Act as a member of the Board of Directors for two legal entities with full P&L responsibility.
    • Team Management: Supervise and guide a team of two finance professionals
    • Financial Oversight: Manage financial accounting, reporting, and compliance for both companies.
    • Reporting: Prepare key financial figures for decision-making.
    • Financial Planning: Develop budgets and financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Financial Statements: Lead the preparation of financial statements in compliance with Swiss regulations and IFRS standards.
    • Tax and Compliance: Handle VAT settlements, tax returns, and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Risk Management: Oversee company insurance and implement risk mitigation strategies.
    • Data Protection: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Investments: Prepare applications for investments and bank guarantees.
    • Internal Controls: Implement Internal Control Systems (ICS) for operational integrity.
    • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with internal audit departments.


The Successful Applicant
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Advance Degree (e.g., MBA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in Finance preferably in a CFO, Senior Controlling/FP&A function with minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
    • Strong knowledge of Swiss financial regulations, IFRS standards, and tax laws.
    • Hands-on experience in a small to midcap environment
    • Strong advantage to have experience with matrix reporting lines and Group Headquarter guidelines but at the same time local Swiss related requirement
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
    • Ability to think strategically and act operationally, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
    • Fluent in English and German
