Summary
Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time), responsible for improving data quality across the department by implementing and maintaining an institutional data governance structure and data quality methodology. Helps establish policies, standards and processes that will be developed and maintained to support the data governance function. Consults on data quality improvements across the department. Advocates for the adoption of rigorous data quality management.

Major Duties :•
- Defines and applies testing strategy to ensure full coverage of positive and negative test cases
- Collaborates with business users to understand and articulate the needs of the business in the software development process
- Makes consultative recommendations to business users and product owners based on knowledge and experience
- Interacts with software developers to ensure existing code coverage and new functional items are included in the testing framework
- Develops and implements a Test-Driven Development strategy which supports automated testing and continuous integration/continuous development
- Maintains a well-organized inventory of test cases which can be efficiently re-used
- Takes a significant role in signing off on new functionality, regression testing and operational readiness preparations
- Well verse with API testing concepts.
- Experienced on API automation.
- Good understanding and hands on development language like java / python
- Experienced on working with rest assured framework.
- Experienced on developing test frameworks.
- Knowledge of Continuous integration and development is plus (Azure pipelines)
- Understanding of test management tool (ADO)
- Knowledge of the drivers of business productivity and functionality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of quality assurance software
24 months as Technical Coordinator/Associate Consultan
- 6+ years relevant domain experience in the Financial Services industry.
- Experience working with clients and client servicing staff in a relevant business setting.
- Industry recognized certifications in quality assurance or business domain is a plus
