Business Manager (Front Office) - Hedge Fund - Large comp package

This front office role (specific to the firm's FO research function), is a newly-created stand-alone position, providing a fundamental intermediary between the firm's flagship European investment team and the economists / broader research team. By understanding the needs / priorities of the investment team, the hire will manage the daily delivery / output of the research team - effectively acting as 'project manager', the hire will be working on long term initiatives, but also super time sensitive work. Key to being successful is prioritising, managing and delegating work (looking at problems, fixing issues, managing projects, longer term goals etc.) correctly to have the most positive impact for the investment team.

Candidates should have roughly 4-6yrs experience in a hedge fund or IB Chief Of Staff, COO team, Business Management or strategy team role. We could consider a management consultant from a top consultancy (with a sold grasp of capital markets). Top tier academics and strong tech skills are also expected.

The role will provide the hire with an attractive increase on base. The client can provide the hire with a sign-on bonus / minimum guarantee bonus to make up for any shortfall moving jobs in Q3/Q4. When in the role, the hire will be part of the front office bonus pool, meaning that a top performer can earn a significant % of his/her salary as a year-end bonus.
