Job Summary

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the bank's strategic planning program, including developing and maintaining policies and processes to guide the plan's execution and ongoing monitoring.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the bank's strategic plan in consultation with the board, senior management, and business line leaders.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic projects and provide regular updates on outcomes, key performance indicators, and key risk indicators against established targets and risk limits to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business units across the bank to identify and assess risks that impact on the bank or that could impact on the bank.
- Support the development of business cases for new initiatives and investments.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and internal capabilities to identify strategic opportunities.
- Coordinate with Financial Planning and Analysis, Capital Planning & Stress Testing, and other functions within Finance to support the budgeting, forecasting, and stress testing processes.
- Responsible for talent management functions including employment, performance evaluations, staff development/training, disciplinary actions, succession planning and ensuring all staff comply with compliance requirements.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in business, finance or related field.
- Minimum experience required: 12+ Years progressive experience in strategic and financial planning in Financial Services industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education level preferred: Master's Degree (or Postgraduate equivalent) Finance or Accounting.
