Tamil Nadu Infrastructure Fund Management Corporation Limited (TNIFMC) is a SEBI regulated Alternative Investments Funds (AIF) manager, set up by the Government of Tamil Nadu along with leading financial institutions. TNIFMC manages focused AIFs in key sectors of the economy.
TNIFMC is looking to recruit an Associate / Investment Analyst for the Tamil Nadu Emerging Sector Seed Fund. The position will be based out of Chennai.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline of potential investments through industry and market research.
- Perform in-depth due diligence, market research on potential investment opportunities.
- Build detailed and robust financial model.
- Draft investment memorandums.
- Assist in deal structuring and negotiations.
- Monitoring the portfolio companies and maintaining relations with investee companies
- Ensure compliance with all necessary rules and regulations.
Desired Profile
- MBA from a top B School or Chartered Accountant
- 3 -5 years’ experience in financial modelling and investment analysis.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, deal with frequent and unexpected changes, and work within tight timeframe.
- Presentation skills with ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions.
- Basic communication skills in Tamil is desirable.
