Position Summary

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing daily transactions for a range of different industries from small to medium businesses, foreign inbound and large local corporations,
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable processing
- Accounts receivable processing
- Payroll and superannuation processing.
- Preparation of Instalment Activity Statements, Business Activity Statements and multistate payroll tax.
- Assistance with preparation of month end management accounts
- Assist managers with drafting client email communications and liaise with clients.
- Workflow management and working with managers to track deliverables and meet client and regulatory deadlines.
- Set up and maintenance of client accounting and finance systems.
- Preparation of month end management reporting with accuracy and timely to meet client deadlines.
To be successful in this role:
- Ability to work in a team environment, autonomously and great communication skills
- Experience in Bookkeeping, AP reconciliation
- Process, deadline driven and the ability to multitask.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft office packages, particularly Excel
- Beneficial to be aware or have used cloud-based accounting apps, Xero Dext, Hubdoc, Employment Hero Payroll (Formerly known as KeyPay).
- Strong work ethic; Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- BAS preparation
Desirable:
- Payroll processing experience (not essential but preferrable)
