A permanent, full-time Accounts Payable Officer role is available now!

Your new company
A leading disability housing provider is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be based in their main office located in Perth's western suburbs.

Your new role
This role will primarily involve performing the full end-to-end Accounts Payable function.
  • Managing the accounts inbox.
  • Management of new suppliers, including supplier set-up.
  • Processing of approved supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding.
  • Preparing and processing of supplier payments via payment batches within the finance system, BPAY and EFT payments.
  • Preparing inter-entity funds transfers for accounts payments.
  • Managing and processing of credit card transactions.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • General office duties (ordering of stationery and kitchen supplies).
  • Assist with other duties within the finance department as required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Bookkeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Trust accounting knowledge will also be favourable.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook & Word).
  • Previous experience using a Finance system. Experience in XERO is highly regarded.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Has a "can do" attitude and is willing to provide other general office support as required.
