Cognizant has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and collaborative Deskstop Support Engineer to join our thriving team. This full-time Support Engineer role is based in Brisbane and offers an attractive salary and benefits. You'll be joining a collaborative and inclusive team seeking to be at the forefront of the business unit and deliver outstanding projects.
As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide desktop support to authorised users as necessitated by the circumstances of the requester (e.g. incidents, service requests, requests of information) and service levels.
In your first few weeks in this Desktop Support Engineer role, you can expect to:
• Deploy a pre-tested image of the desktop operating system to end-user workstations on request
• Deploy desktop applications to end-user workstations subject to approval
• Undertake administration activities pertaining to email configuration.
To apply for this Desktop Support Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
• Supporting and installing services for desktop computing hardware devices, peripherals, and associated system software
• Managing the technology in meeting spaces (e.g, wall-mounted screens, projectors, IP phones, video conferencing devices), Virtual desktop services (e.g, Citrix/Microsoft), and O365 Suites.
