Position Title- Senior Associate - Commentary

Experience - 4-6 years

Brief Job Description

• Engage with various stakeholders to kick off workflows, prepare for month end, gather and input data, as well as resolve questions

• Performance attribution report creation, charting, analysis, and commentary writing.

• Update performance charts, numbers & other static/dynamic data in presentations/pitchbooks/review books/factsheets

• Prepare process guides, documentation and help with any adhoc projects during the lean period

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite

• Work with the Portfolio Management team with Tracking Error and Performance monitoring reports

• Prepare presentations and Factsheets on a periodic basis for marketing

• Passionate about learning new things and flexible about tasks

• Tracks issues to closure and keeps all stakeholders informed about the progress

• Good domain in Capital Markets/Mutual Funds/ETFs

• Knowledge of Bloomberg, Factset, and Aladdin databases is an added advantage

• Highly data-centric role, requires exceptional attention to detail

• Good understanding of the asset management industry and investment products such as mutual funds, and ETFs.

• Quant skills: Very good understanding of performance and risk calculation methodologies
•  Finance skills: Good understanding of basic financial terms and knowledge about products like mutual funds, ETFs, and derivatives.
• Technical Skills: Good Excel skills and VBA or any programming language is an added advantage
• Communication & Teamwork: Must have good written and oral communication skills and be able to work as an individual contributor as well as in teams
