Consultant/ Assistant Manager - Management Consulting

Job Description:

We are looking for a Consultant/Asst. Manager for our Management Consulting Division. The person would conduct market and financial feasibility studies, business and equity valuations, identification and valuation of intangible assets, model audits, impairment testing of goodwill, preparation of financial projections, business plans and information memoranda.

The ideal candidate should have professional qualifications in finance (CA/ MBA/ ICWA/ CFA) with at least 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in the UAE, should possess excellent communication, analytical and writing skills and good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The candidate is expected to conduct assignments independently with minimal supervision and should have previous experience of conducting feasibility studies/market research/valuation independently.

A valid UAE driving license and knowledge of Arabic would be distinct advantages but not a pre-requisite.

Please note this is not an accounting or audit position and is a purely consulting/ advisory role.

Responsibilities:

Understand assignment scope, conduct research on the relevant industry to understand its dynamics and bring the results to the assignment.

Independently conduct comprehensive secondary and primary research including personal and online interviews.

Building and reviewing financial models based on specific business situations and as per client requirements.

Understand and formulate business drivers (revenue, cost, etc.) as required by the assignment on a need basis.

Undertake and assist with valuation of companies using different valuation methodologies such as DCF, market multiples, NAV, and other industry specific methodologies.

Support preparation of proposals through case-studies, samples, and preliminary background research.

Draft documented feasibility and valuation reports based on work undertaken by the team.
