One of our clients in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the EMEA Payroll team.
  • 6.5-month contract
  • 3 days/week on-site (Limerick, Ireland)
  • Hourly rate: PAYE


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily payroll activities and ensure compliance with corporate policies, tax laws, and payroll regulations.
  • Advise management on corrective actions and handle payroll metrics.
  • Respond to employee queries on pay, policies, and tax laws.
  • Analyze and recommend changes to payroll processes for compliance.
  • Collaborate with vendors and review payroll applications.
  • Participate in payroll system testing, implementations, and projects.
  • Prepare payroll tax and general ledger accounts; liaise with finance to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Research regulatory changes affecting payroll.
  • Manage vendors and coach junior team members.
  • Review team members' work and provide backup support.
  • Represent the department in various meetings.


Ideal Candidate:
  • Several years of payroll experience; EMEA experience is a plus.
  • Experience in payroll processing, reconciliation, and General Ledger.
  • Familiarity with Workday is advantageous.
