About The Role
As we invest more into our growth, we're looking for a talented Financial Crime Manager who will act as the DMLRO - who has a strong background, excellent technical skills, and sound business acumen. You'll be working closely with the MLRO both to continue to grow Interpolitan Money in the UK and help with our ongoing global expansion. .
What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for first line financial crime matters including onboarding, transaction monitoring, screening and client reviews.
- Operating quality control measures to ensure that functions remain consistent and evolved over time to further increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Engaging with colleagues, both within the Compliance Department and the wider business as a financial crime subject matter expert not only for ongoing training and upskilling programme but to support colleagues seek opportunities.
- Working with banking and payment partners to ensure that both day-to-day queries are met as well as annual reporting.
- Providing management information reports to the MLRO and the Board of Directors.
- Acting in place of the MLRO during leave or business continuity events.
Requirements
- Prior experience of acting as a senior member of a Compliance Department within an FCA regulated firm.
- Experience of working within a payments, electronic money, banking or foreign exchange business.
- ACAMS or ICA certification or similar.
- A confident decision maker who is able to articulate and communicate their rationale to feedback to both the Compliance Department and the wider business.
- Good at building teams, bringing on colleagues and engaging with colleagues across the business and international wider Interpolitan Money Group.
- The ability to work independently and prioritise.sk.
- Experience working for a global regulated financial services organisation
- Experience working within fintech, banking, wealth, investment, professional services
- Experience working in scaling businesses
