A unique opportunity for you to support the Deloitte's most important Private Equity clients as a market-facing Client Relationship Executive. This role is centred around building exceptional client relationships, advising our Private Equity clients on how to drive successful strategies and investments, assembling the right Deloitte expertise to support with those situations, and bringing rigour and accountability across all areas of the client account. You will be working directly in partnership with Lead Client Service Partners (LCSPs) and Lead Portfolio Partners (LPPs) to catalyse cross-service line opportunities for Deloitte to support Private Equity clients create value through both external relationship development and internal account team discipline and enabling, a critical skillset recognised as a necessity for potential Assistant Director candidates.
Relationship development through awareness of Deloitte PE propositions, providing advice and assembling SMEs to support our clients at pace
Build and sustain exceptional client relationships with senior individuals at both the PE fund, in-house portfolio/operating teams and portfolio companies. Understand the PE client's key investment criteria and leverage the full breadth of Deloitte's capabilities to support the client drive deal value as they identify, invest, transform and exit investments. Promote Deloitte's capabilities to PE clients and identify opportunities to support those clients by identifying and assembling the right Deloitte SMEs and advice. Act as a proxy for the LPP internally across Deloitte, and externally with clients. Build knowledge of Deloitte's relationship assets and executive leader programmes for use in nurturing new and existing client relationships. Broaden and leverage the Deloitte internal network (including in other geographies) and collaborate with key senior internal stakeholders, including service line and industry representatives, to assemble and enable relevant solutions to be brought to our PE clients to drive value creation or value preservation - whether post deal/first 100 days, mid-cycle or with respect to exit value maximisation.
Internal account discipline, organisation and internal strategy development
Through account discipline and rigour, lead account team management/organisation and support the LCSP and LPP in the development and execution of the account strategy by building a deep understanding of the medium and longer-term strategic intentions of the PE House and its portfolio companies. Bring the right Deloitte insight and capability to the internal account to enhance our client value proposition. Proactively bring opportunities to the account team by understanding PE client coverage/activity and exploring existing Deloitte relationships to catalyse further relationship development opportunities. Act as advisor to the LCSP, LPP and account team to determine strategic focus, relationship mapping and opportunities across the full breadth of the PE client account.

- Initiate, build and sustain exceptional client relationships with the most senior levels of the organisation at both the fund and portfolio level
- Understand the client's key investment criteria and leverage the full breadth of the firm's capabilities to support clients as they identify, invest, transform and exit investments
- Ability to build a broad internal network and collaborate with key senior internal stakeholders, including service line and industry representatives, to enable bespoke end-to-end solutions to be brought the client
- Promote the firm's capabilities to clients and identify sales opportunities to be forwarded to the appropriate Leads
- Act as a proxy for the Lead Portfolio Partner (LPP) both internally, and externally with clients
- Act as advisor to the Lead Portfolio Partner, Lead Client Service Partner and account team to determine strategic focus and significant opportunities on key accounts.
- Review and share information on client buying and the competitor landscape, maintain financial oversight and reporting on key accounts, supporting in the development of an annual business plan and building knowledge of alternative pricing and delivery models
- Implement and co-ordinate the Private Equity Portfolio go-to-market strategy, working alongside firmwide stakeholders
