Description
Under the immediate supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Specialist performs routine accounting activities, including posting and the verification of financial data.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is in regular communication, is required to use various tools or objects, and has the mobility to move about the office. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overtime may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Description
Under the immediate supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Specialist performs routine accounting activities, including posting and the verification of financial data.
Essential Job Functions
- Process accounts payable which includes the review of invoices and expense reports to current expense policy, determination of expense categories, posting to A/P system, printing checks, reconciliation, distribution of payments and filing of invoices
- Completion of monthly credit card reconciliations for specified general ledger accounts
- Completion of monthly and quarterly A/P reporting and communication to management as needed on the status
- Comply with all Anti-Money Laundering Laws and Regulations
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficiency with Excel
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to learn new computer applications
