We are looking for a motivated and well-organised Senior Payroll Consultant to join our friendly Business Advisory team in Sydney. You will work closely with a team of professionals who have gained experience from a range of outsourced payroll providers, Big4 & mid-tier chartered accounting firms, and large commercial organisations.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing payroll services to our clients. We service a range of clients across:
ensuring that they comply with their regulatory and tax requirements in relation to payroll.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and well-organised Senior Payroll Consultant to join our friendly Business Advisory team in Sydney. You will work closely with a team of professionals who have gained experience from a range of outsourced payroll providers, Big4 & mid-tier chartered accounting firms, and large commercial organisations.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing payroll services to our clients. We service a range of clients across:
- Industry (NFP, airline, mining, agricultural & professional services)
- Size (1 to 1,000 employees)
- Local & International
ensuring that they comply with their regulatory and tax requirements in relation to payroll.
Your key responsibilities
- Work closely with the payroll team to process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for both local and international clients.
- Manage regulatory compliance obligations such as Payroll Tax, STP reporting, Superannuation and Salary Packaging
- Manage client relationships including attending meetings and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with ad hoc projects including new client implementations.
- Continuously develop a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation so our clients remain compliant.
- Experience using Keypay or Payroll Metrics payroll systems is preferable, but not essential.
- Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products in particular Excel.
What you need to be successful
- Minimum 5 years previous Australian Payroll experience is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, providing support and assistance to other team members.
- Ability to work to deadlines and a genuine customer service focus to both internal and external stakeholders.
