Job Responsibilities
Mizuho Bank is seeking a professional with strong experience in project management and the development and execution of communications strategies to join the newly formed APAC Compliance team. Reporting to the APAC Compliance Chief of Staff, this role is to support the APAC Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and APAC Compliance Chief of Staff in managing and coordinating the regional compliance and compliance transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities:

-Support and assist the APAC CCO and APAC Compliance Chief of Staff as project manager for the APAC Compliance Transformation programme, ensuring timely completion of key project milestones
-Develop, oversee and execute comprehensive communication strategies and plans to support compliance transformation programme development and execution
-Work with APAC Compliance Heads to conceptualize, develop and disseminate content to communicate status of the Compliance Transformation programme
-Prepare communication and status updates to the Head Office, senior management, and key stakeholders
Build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders across different functions and countries

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least 10 to 15 years' experience in consulting and/or the financial services industry
- Strong project management experience and skills
- Expertise in developing and executing communications strategy
- Compliance experience will be an advantage
- Strong organization and time management skills, excellent eye for details
- Highly motivated team player
- Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal) and people skills, ability to influence and collaborate with people across different cultures and backgrounds
- Excellent Microsoft skills (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Adaptable, resilient and passionate about making a difference
