We are seeking for a member to join the Regulatory Compliance (RC) team, with a focus on handling regulatory affairs and reporting. As part of the role, you will also be expected to monitor various regulatory developments and changes, and be involved in risk assessment and reporting.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
On a day to day basis, you will be expected to:
- Handle regulatory submissions, enquiries, surveys, audits and maintain pro-active, good working relationship with the regulatory authorities;
- Co-ordinate and collate the necessary information from internal bank stakeholders, and facilitate any regulator's requests and/or on-site inspection, as the case may be;
- Identify and assess any policy and regulatory breaches and prepare escalation reports to senior management and/or regulator;
- Formulate, review, and maintain compliance framework, policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
- Monitor for any regulatory developments, manage regulatory consultations and oversee regulatory change implementation;
- To conduct periodic internal compliance trainings and compliance risk assessments;
- Drive good compliance culture through organizing, preparing materials for compliance committees and forums.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g. Accountancy, Business Studies, Law)
- 5 years of financial sector experience, with 3 years in related roles.
- Experience in regulatory analysis and implementation.
- Possess strong stakeholder management skills; effective writing and comprehension skills.
- MAS Regulatory liaison experience will be ideal
